Sheepworld, how could we doubt ewe?

From Snells , we headed north,  taking time out to visit Sheepworld, just north of Warkworth.  I must admit that it was touch and go as to whether a Sheepworld adventure would be had, but PB and I ventured forth,  having not been able to convince DH that he should join us.
I am happy to report that it was well worth the effort.  The show was about 1 hour and 15 mins,  and was entertaining and informative.  (The aussie jokes making it a jovial affair).
The sheep dogs were amazing and the shearing demo was interesting.  The kids getting to feed lambs was a bonus.
We followed up by feeding animals around the farm from our $1 bag of feed,  though a jumpy rooster gave PB a fright and he vowed "never to feed that rooster ever again".  Admittedly, most of our feed went to the ducks rather than the alpacas, deer, rabbits,  donkeys and the like,  but the three year old enjoyed the novelty of being the Pied Piper of ducks for a short time.
Two hours of farm yard fun.  Tick. ☺

  1. Did you stay in the campsite there? We stayed there on our post wedding trip. The sheep were cool.
