Goodbye, Sunny Skies!

Left Murchison and had a good trip to Brightwater.  Left the great weather behind though, so left the caravan at our dear friend's house and drove in to Nelson to have a pub lunch and see a movie.   (Perfect rainy day afternoon activities!)
We saw The Smurfs - The Lost Village, much to PB's pleasure. 
Home for a play with the 3 kids of the house and dinner and wine and chatter before heading off to bed.
Rained solidly all night and through the day, so PB and DH were happy to have a day on the couch enjoying our friend's Netflix, while I took a trip to the wearable arts and car museum place. 
Very talented people who create these costumes.  They were super cool and it was a nice couple of hours spent.  
The cars were neat,  too,  though the display at Invercargill was far larger. 
Spent the rest of the afternoon with another friend who had moved to Nelson.  Was lovely catching up. Home for dinner with the family and of to bed with dreams of better weather tomorrow!
