Easter Eggs and River Tracks

The Easter Bunny delivered easter eggs into our caravan this morning!  Then he ALSO delivered MORE eggs all around the campsite!   PB had fun finding them and then re-hiding them for other kids.
We decided to head right over to Picton and use it as a base for exploring the Queen Charlotte road and Anakiwa without the caravan on the back.
On the way to Picton, we called in at Pelorus River and did a little loop track.  The river was a gorgeous green and it met up with the Rai River, very picturesque.
There were heaps of cool fungi in the bush and PB and I had a go at tasting the 'dew' of the Honey Dew beetle.  (Ugh, yes,  I know it sits on the end of it's anal passage,  we just chose today to live a little and try it anyway.  Errrkk! )
Onward to Picton and PB made some new friends playing on the giant pillow, so he was a happy camper.
